Stewardship for Saints & Scholars is a capital campaign led by Bishop Boyea to promote authentic Catholic education in the Diocese of Lansing. The goals of this campaign are to make Catholic education:
- On Mission – to hire, form, and retain teachers and educators who are in love with Christ and His mission.
- Affordable – to increase availability of tuition assistance for new and returning families.
- Accessible – to expand programs and resources for students with special needs, so that all children can receive a Catholic education.
- Local Initiatives – to build up our local parishes, schools, homeschool programs, religious education programs, and faith formation.
Here at St. Francis we have decided to stretch our goal in order to grow our educational and youth ministries by planning a modest extension that will give us necessary additional classroom space to meet a growing demand and allow us to add a long-desired multifunctional youth room to our campus. While our parish share of the diocesan campaign goal is $2.65 million, with this stretch goal we hope to raise an additional $2.1 million – making a total goal of $4.75 million.
