St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, founded in 1952 and re-accredited in 2010 by the Michigan Association of Nonpublic Schools, is an integral part of the St. Francis of Assisi Parish community in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our 35+ teachers work together encouraging students to discover God’s plan as they learn, care and lead. Specialized teachers are on staff for art, band, computer technology, library, music, physical education and Spanish-language instruction. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have the required teaching certification for the state of Michigan; must be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church; must have a strong working knowledge of the Faith; certification as a lay minister preferred.
