Get ready for an unforgettable week of faith, fun, and friendship at St. Francis Parish!
This year’s VBS invites children to discover their “True North” by learning to trust Jesus through the ups and downs of life. We’ll explore the Gospel of Matthew and the inspiring life of Mother Frances Cabrini, the first canonized American saint, whose mission work touched the lives of immigrants—including those who labored in Michigan’s mining towns like Calumet and beyond.

Through Bible stories, lively music, games, crafts, delicious snacks, and interactive faith adventures, kids will journey through the wild world around them with Jesus as their guide.
In this Year of Hope and during the 75th Anniversary of our Parish, we’ll also take a “Blast from the Past,” celebrating the faith and fun of those who laid the foundations of our parish family.

We need Middle and High School students to serve as Junior Guides—building leadership skills while helping younger campers grow in faith.
Adult Mentors are needed to support and encourage our Junior Guides and campers throughout the week.

Let’s make this summer a journey of faith, discovery, and joy!

Some Catholic Prayers to Know can be found here in English and Spanish.

Holy Family prayer:
Jesus, Son of God and Son of Mary, Read More

bless our family. Graciously inspire in us the unity, peace, and mutual love that you found in your own family in the little town of Nazareth.
Mary, Mother of Jesus and Our Mother, nourish our family with your faith and your love. Keep us close to your Son, Jesus, in all our sorrows and joys.
Joseph, Foster-father to Jesus, guardian and spouse of Mary, keep our family safe from harm. Help us in all times of discouragement or anxiety.
Holy Family of Nazareth, make our family one with you. Help us to be instruments of peace. Grant that love, strengthened by grace, may prove mightier than all the weaknesses and trials through which our families sometimes pass.
May we always have God at the center of our hearts and homes until we are all one family, happy and at peace in our true home with you. Amen
Spanish:
Jesús, hijo de Dios e hijo de María,Read More
bendice a nuestra familia.
