Hefer International -
Advent Service Project 2003
St. Francis Parish/School
Goals: Buy a Gift Ark of Farm Animals for $5000.00 and
transform the lives of 30 Hungry Families in an impoverished commuhity,
Build upon our Steps to REspect Theme with emphasis on Respcet for the
Individual in helping to become self-reliant Teach our Children about world
hunger and help our children think of others in need as we prepare for
Christmas.

November 4 Resource Guide & other Resources available.

Week of November 10 View Video, "The Promise"/read Beatrice's
Goat Book/distribute matterials. (Ark Banks; Animal Cracker Cards
& Pins to wear; Letter & a "Fill the Ark" 4 week calendar.

November 17 - Prayer SErvice/Kick off Rally in Gym with a speaker
from Heifer; and plenty of goats, chickens and rabits.

Weeks of November 17, Nov 24, Dec 1 & Dec 8 --- Collection of
Funds &/Offertory Givings at each Mass.

December 12 - All Funds Due.

December 16 - Night of School Christmas Program

December 17 - Ark Ornament Making & Prayer in Classrooms
