We
are looking for volunteers to join the fun and, at the same time, help
older adults who want to remain at home but require assistance to do so.
The seniors helped by NSS lack the capability to do the work themselves,
usually have no family in the area, and are unable to secure qualified
assistance that they can afford.
Come alone or form a group, but please join more than 300 other volunteers
from Washtenaw County schools, businesses, congregations and service groups
as we prepare seniors’ homes for the winter. Enjoy a fall afternoon
raking yards, checking smoke alarms, and assuring frail seniors that they
are not forgotten.
