Join our St. Francis group at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 9, 2008, in St. Francis Church Choir Room as we plan our Mission Trip to San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  

The project St. Francis will establish will be possibly one of these: 1.) constructing playground equipment;  or , perhaps, 2.) installing a library/learning center with computers.

We will learn about the work of Central American Ministries (CAM) and volunteer to help at the nursery and elementary school near the garbage dump.

Each adult participant will be expected to pay for the trip including all ground transportation and meals (May be between $1300.00 - $1500.00 ??)  We hope to do some fundraising to help pay for the playground, as well as, perhaps assist participants with the cost of the trip.

This is a trip for adults.   (The St. Francis Youth will probably go in the Summer of 2009.)
 (Also, Andrew will send us more details on a September 2008 Medical Mission with CAM.)

We hope to meet several times this year before our trip in 2009 to learn more, see photos, pray for the work and goals of this ministry and most importantly practice and learn some basic beginners Spanish.
