prayerpartner.jpgEstablished in 2009 by our St. Francis of Assisi Parish Peace & Justice Committee, as part of the St. Francis' Parish Pastoral Plan (2009-2014), all parishioners are invited become a Justice Prayer Partner.  A Justice Prayer Partner commits to pray daily and/or offer daily challenges, sufferings or sacrifices to ask God’s guidance and grace on the ongoing ministry project(s).

The Peace and Justice Committee realizes that we have many people committed to working for peace and justice, but who may not be able to attend meetings or participate in events. Your daily prayers and efforts will be a powerful contribution to the Committee’s efforts. If you do attend the meetings, we believe that becoming a Justice Prayer Partner will offer an opportunity for deeper participation and awareness.

Interested parishioners will be sent an email stating the current month’s prayer request, along with a brief explanation of the project.  Each subsequent month, you will receive an email with a brief summary of the last month’s project status and the new prayer request for the month.

To be a Justice Prayer Partner or for more information contact the Parish Service + Justice Ministry Office, Scott Wright at swright [at] stfrancisa2 [dot] org or 821-2121
