Currently, more than 22 million American families are caring for a loved one in an unassisted living arrangement.  Caring for a family member or friend, whether it be sorting through financial and insurance issues or assisting with basic care needs, can be overwhelming.
The American Red Cross has developed a modular “Family Caregiving Program” consisting of 9 individual, hour- long programs each designed to enhance particular caregiver skills.  Through a grant from Pfizer Global Research and Development, these programs and the associated training/ reference materials are being offered free of charge to Washtenaw County Residents.
