Welcome All High School Youth to our Ministry
What is Our Mission?
Our mission is four-fold. We will actively participate in the community - as disciples of Christ to share, challenge, and develop spiritually, as servants to minister to and be enriched by serving those in need, as friends to mature and flourish socially, as teens seeking to inspire each other to seek the truth and grow intellectually through our numerous worldly "hot-topic" discussions.
To receive information on up-coming events, deadlines, and any programming changes, please fill out the contact form. This will also ensure we have emergency information for your teen while they are at youth group.
Join us, with the rest of our worship community as we celebrate 5:00 pm Mass together. Immediately after Mass, join us in the Youth Room for Youth Group. From the end of Mass until 7:00 pm the Youth Room is open to hang out, enjoy some snacks and relax before youth group begins at 7:00 pm. The Youth Room is located in the lower level of the rectory.
Newman Connection for College Bound Students…
It that time of year again, when our high school graduates are preparing for University/College. College years are a critical time for our youth with their growing in and staying connected to the Catholic faith. Most secular Universities have a Catholic Campus Ministry. Fall of 2014 Highlights
Return of Sunday Night Youth Groups
Every Sunday from 7-9 pm in the youth room. All are welcome to come early and hang out, enjoy some snacks, and relax.
Every third Sunday, we'll have an open gym afternoon. Games and activities will be chosen by the teens who participate: basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, kickball, anything is an option!
At least once a month service opportunities will be offered. Starting September 20 at Food Gatherers
We will join with nearly 1,000 other teens the first Sunday of November for the Diocesan Jamboree.
...And...A Brand New Program: Cafe Theology
A special, Sunday afternoon, series will begin on September 28 that will offer participants the chance to focus on the teachings of the Church in greater detail to better understand our faith and to be prepared to share that faith with others and participate in the many conversations and debates about faith and the Church that occur in every day life. This program will meet from 12:00-1:30 pm in the youth room (following 10:30 Mass) and will offer a simple lunch for those who participate. Registration will open in August.
