The Sunday 5 p.m. Mass resumes today, September 14.

Toddler & 2s begins next week, September 21 at the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses.  No pre-registration is needed.  Bring your children to the nursery, located in the basement of the church.

Children's Liturgy of the Word for children in grades K-3 resumes this week at the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses.

All children of the parish are invited to sing in the Parish Children’s Choir.  Sign up by coming to our 1st rehearsal on Thursday September 18 at 6:15 p.m. in the Choir Room.

Religious Education and sacramental preparation classes for children in grades preschool through 8th grade begin the week of September 21.  Sign up on-line here!   Forms are also available in the Sunday bulletin, and the Religious Education and parish offices.  Read more...

Religious Education teachers and aides are needed.  Learn more and Sign up to help here!  RE Teachers are needed for the following sessions:  Monday 4:30 p.m. co-teachers for grade K & 1; Wednesday 6:30 p.m. coteacher for grade 5  Aides are needed for most sessions.  Contact Ellen Ward at ward [at] stfrancisa2 [dot] org if you can help!

 The orientation meeting for all RE teachers and aides is Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm  in the PAC.


Registrations are still being accepted for the Sept 22nd Golf Outing at Travis Pointe Country Club on behalf of our school’s Tuition Assistance Fund.  See the bulletin for more information.


Our St. Francis School of Discipleship resumes Tuesday evening, Sept 23. Register today for the Salvation History course, taught by Jim Miller.


As a parish we offer a wide range of events, learning opportunities and activities for all our HS Youth from Open Gym, starting Sept 21, Cafe Theology which begins Sept 28, to First Service Saturday and of course our annual summer service trip to Guatemala. Join us at 7 p.m. Wed, Sept 17, for a workshop on how to facilitate a small group in the Parish Office Meeting Room.


Sessions for those interested in becoming Catholic begin today! If you have been thinking about joining the Church, join us in the Chapel immediately following the 10:30 Mass or see the bulletin for information on how to get started.


Our month-long celebration of St. Francis begins Oct 4 with Mass and a dinner theater event called “An Evening in Assisi with St. Francis” presented by Mark Price.  Reservations for this event must be in by Sept 26.  A second show without dinner is offered Sunday, October 5 at 2:30 in the Church.  This event and indeed the whole month of celebration and learning is open to all ages. So feel free to join us as we get to know our patron.


Urgent Collection for Catholic Near East Welfare Association - CNEWA to Assist Christians in need throughout the Middle East and in a special way  Christian communities in Iraq, Syria  and the Holy Land.  Envelopes can be found in the pews; you can take them home and return them next week or make a donation today.  Make checks payable to “St. Francis Parish” with “Middle East” in the memo line.
