Christ has Risen Alleluia!

"As we celebrate the resurrection it is good to acknowledge that redemption is not a magic moment but a lived reality. There can be no short cuts on this, as Christians we must witness to Christ before the world: It is truly right and just, with ardent love of mind and heart and with devoted service of our voice, to acclaim our God invisible, the almighty Father and Jesus Christ our Lord, his Son, his Only Begotten." Follow our Pilgrims to Rome
On April 21, Fr. James, our Youth Minister Jen and a group of parishioners headed to Italy on a pilgrimage for the canonizations of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII. Follow their trip via the Youth Ministry Blog or the St. Francis  Facebook Page for posts that include photos and reflections on the experience. They will be keeping you in their prayers, let us do the same!

A Special Invitation To Inactive Catholics
We’ve missed you!

Perhaps you have been away and don’t quite know how to come back. Perhaps you have been captivated by the media surrounding Pope Francis. Maybe his actions have resonated with something inside you and you feel called back. Maybe you were here for an event during the Lenten season and rediscovered that small still voice inside—God calling.
Next Sunday, April 27, we will begin a series of meetings to help you reconnect. These meetings will take place in the Chapel at 12:00 noon (following the 10:30 Mass). Please contact Marty Lucas at mlucas [at] stfrancisa2 [dot] org or 821-2125 to get started on your journey home.

Please join us as dynamic motivational humorist, Sheri Wohlfert leads a hilarious and honest presentation about what it truly means to live as a daughter of God. She describes it this way: “You are a wonderfully, perfectly, beautifully made daughter of God! If you aren't sure how to live like you know that, then this is the presentation for you! We will take a humorous and practical look at the ways we can live as His daughter and serve our Loving Father while doing the dishes, folding the wash, car pooling the kids, running the sweeper, and working for world peace!” Sheri Wohlfert has been involved in speaking and ministry for over 20 years and has a vast background in education and theological studies. For more information on how to get involved with the Women’s Faith and Fellowship Group, contact Janene Ternes at jlternes [at] stfrancisa2 [dot] org or 734-821-2122.
