What? A Journey through scripture with both the first Christians and modern day witnesses to our Lord. Our journey leads to Prayer to the Holy Spirit with Fr. James Conlon, celebration of Pentecost, and a look at the new feast day established by Pope Francis on the Monday after Pentecost.
When? Monday evenings at 6:45 pm beginning April 16 and running through May 21 (the new memorial day for the Blessed Virgin Mary, under the title, Mary, mother of the Church)
Where? We meet in the Parish Activities Center (PAC) on Mondays at 6:45 pm.
How? We’ll enjoy appetizers and pastries, a talk on the Holy Spirit, talks by guest speakers on modern day witnesses to the work of the Holy Spirit, and lead to prayer over us for the Holy Spirit.
Who? For those who desire to know, live, re-connect, or restir up the life of the Holy Spirit in their own lives.
Why? God does not want us to rely on ourselves to live the good life. Jesus sends us his Spirit and desires to completely immerse us in the Spirit, giving us the power and ability to live a life rich in love and happiness, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God (Romans 8:14).”
Experience Pentecost like you’ve never experienced it before!
